Pope Francis, the leader of the world Catholics, has called for help to the victims of the catastrophic earthquake in Herat.
The Catholic leader has asked “all the benefactors” of the world to help victims of the deadly earthquake in Afghanistan.
Pope Francis wrote on the “X” social media network: “Let’s contribute in a spirit of brotherhood in alleviating people’s suffering and supporting the necessary reconstruction.”
The World Food Programme in Afghanistan on Wednesday announced that more than 2,000 people died, and thousands were injured as a result of the earthquake on Saturday.
