Four people died and six others were injured following a traffic accident on Herat-Kandahar highway on Friday evening, local officials in Herat said.
The incident happened in Shabid area of Adraskan district of Herat province.
Herat police said in a statement that the incident involved two cars which collided head on.
According to the statement, four people in both cars died and six others were injured in the accident.
