Minister for Information of Pakistan’s Balochistan province, Jan Achakzai, on Saturday warned Afghanistan that supporting and harbouring terrorists will sink the country.
Speaking in a press conference, Achakzai said that terrorist sanctuaries in Afghanistan are a threat for Pakistan and Islamabad has repeatedly asked Kabul to hand over terrorists to Pakistan.
“If this support continues, it will sink Afghanistan,” Achakzai said.
He added that Pakistan’s foreign ministry has shared evidence with Kabul that shows terrorists have sanctuaries in Afghanistan and they are provided with weapons, but Kabul still plays a double game, which is unacceptable.
He also claimed that the commanders of the Islamic Emirate are helping the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The Islamic Emirate has previously rejected the claims of Pakistani authorities about supporting terrorists and emphasized that Afghanistan is not responsible for the security failure of any country in the region.
